Casey was suddenly in panic mode seeing the van drive off at sped from the lock-up.

“Hurry up, they are getting away.”

“Not from me love. Not with this shed load of cash.”

The taxi driver sped off after the van again and was soon following them from a distance that did not look to obvious.

Liev came back into his mind again and looked over to Shannon.

“Did you just do something funny to me?”

“Yes. Good hey!”

“I guess, but how are you able to do it?”

Shannon could feel Liev eyes looking at her body as he looked her over. She could sense he wanted her. When she had entered Sharon’s mind, she could now see why Sharon also lusted after him. Liev was a man in more ways than one. He was confident, strong and had a scent about him that made her attracted to him like no other man she had met before. Not that she had experience in these things, but since she had taken the last leap in ageing, she felt a need inside of her. A need so strong she did not know if Liev would want to give her this last wish willingly. She felt surer now that he was looking her over, and she felt the same electricity between them. If she had been honest with her brother, that is why she really wanted to see Liev, and yes. She would need his experience to get to Grecco, but she could have done that on her own. But he was here now, and she did not regret this way she had chosen.

“Are you okay?” Liev asked, at the sudden blank expression on Shannon’s face.

As he glanced at her she looked amazing. Her hair flowed over her face, just enough to give a glimpse at her bright green eyes that seemed to mesmerise him. This was not what he was expecting to see when Frank said she was a child. This was no child, and the feelings he now had growing inside of him made him want her, but that was crazy. He did not even know where they were going, or even how she had known how to find him. More questions kept popping into his mind as he kept glancing at this beautiful stranger that was sat next to him.

“Shannon, are you okay?” Liev repeated.

“Oh, yes. I am fine. I guess you are wondering what is going on?”

“It would be nice to know what this is all about. But I do have to admit, this is not what I was expecting.”

“Are you disappointed?”

“At you. No way. I just think this is all too much to understand. I met your father once, but the skills you have, are way different to his.”

“What was he like?”

“Dylan. He was a nice guy. Honest, and he just got caught up in something that was way bigger than he was.”

“Did he die in pain?”

“Look, the main thing is you are alive. You cannot change what has happened.”

“I know. It just feels all messed up at times, and I think sometimes it would be better it was all over.
